Our History

For over a decade and a half, Oak Harbor Youth Sailing (OHYS) has been dedicated to providing the highest quality sailing instruction to young sailors in our community. With the support of the Oak Harbor Yacht Club, the City of Oak Harbor Marina, and the generosity of our community, we have been able to offer various programs for sailors of all skill levels.

From our Learn-to-Sail camps to our high school racing team, OHYS has been a place for young sailors to develop the teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence that comes with the lifelong sport of sailing. Many of our sailors have become instructors, passing on their passion for sailing to the next generation.

As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, Oak Harbor Youth Sailing is dedicated to making sailing accessible to all. Your donations are always welcome and help us continue to provide quality sailing instruction and experiences to the youth in our community.
